Love Yourself, Take your time :)

Everyone is different, but for me, the breathing method does not work. I try to think of nothing. Not the visual, not the mental, not the sounds, music, etc. I think of nothing. If the voice in my mind starts to talk, I gently “shhhhh” it away. It is essential that you love yourself. You have to live in harmony with yourself. Buddah says:

======================“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”======================

This rings true to me. The way to separate yourself from anger is to forget it, simple as that. To think about it hurts people, so think about something else. For me, I think about the present. It can be difficult to do this (alone) in your room or your house, so try it outside!

Look at the trees, the birds, the stars, feel the wind, listen to the sounds of cars, or the buzzing of the insects, sense the warmth of the smiles of the people around you! If you position your body in a certain way, the spirit will follow. Relax! Or chill, as I like to say. 

People always say "Mind over Matter", but I believe in an equilibrium of both. You can also use matter to affect your mind.

Forcing yourself to smile will activate the dopamine in your brain. The way you sit in your chair can modify the way you think. Sitting straight up with make your mind more attentive, slouching with your legs apart and your hands being your head will make your mind more relaxed. Walk at a slower pace to calm your mind, think as though you are always with a special someone, because in reality you are! You are going out with yourself, and no one is as special as you.

Think positive, ask yourself questions, like, why do you have this anger found in yourself, why do I have this fear? Don't be angry towards yourself, comfort yourself. The past doesn't exist, it is just a memory. Memory is used to enjoy and to learn from, not to dwell on.

Hmm, now that I think about it, maybe it’s better if you accept things the way they are? That this is the way it will be, and you just have to change your perception to see the positive side of life? You are alive! It’s true that suicide seems like a simple way to escape, but I’ve read that all of the problems that people had when attempting to jump off buildings seemed minuscule during the fall. I find this beautiful that...for an instant, we can forget all of our problems, just to survive, just yearning to live. If we are able to forget all of our miseries for one instant, it means we are able to to forget them forever. Just apply that instant to a lifetime :)

That’s it. Forget your anger and your fears, love yourself.

You are the most important person in the world, we cannot love purley without loving ourselves first.

So love yourself.
